I think I'll stop posting monsters for awhile. I need to focus on something else. Over all I don't think I did all to well on these. I might color some of the better ones. I need to figure out what I'm doing wrong and right on these. I need to work harder.

I've been trying to draw better monsters. It's getting there. I showed some artist at comic con my monsters. He said I'm there. :) I need to work harder though.

WIP Bear and Brown animation pitch

This is what I've been working on lately. An animation pitch story. It's been hard work. I've learned a lot and I am not done. The three main characters are Brown, Bear and the small girl. The car belongs to Bear(the dude) and Brown(the Bear) rides in the back. The old man sage is a drug dealer and gives out magic drugs. Crazy stuff happens The Dude with the lantern is a homeless guy. I have not figured out what he'll be doing. Maybe some type of guide to weird worlds. I've mostly figured out Bear and Brown. I am having trouble with the design of the girl. I'll be finishing this up and designing their enviornments. Hope to learn more and get better.

Not sure what I will do with this character. It was going to be for a comic, but I don't really have a story worth telling. I might make him in 3d or maybe putting him in an art book. Not sure yet. The expressions are alright. The expression look more like different angles than expressions. The gestures seem stiff. I need to push the guestures more. Over all I'm taking a step towards a right direction with my art. I'm happy.

I've been working on kid concepts for a comic i might do. This kid looks sorta cute, but I think if i were to use him in a comic i would to mess with shapes more.. i think he is to general.

I am not sure what he does, but he kicks ass doing it. He looks like some type of professional that enjoys his work. I think i did alright... I want to say some negative things, but I won't. It's an alright painting.

Scooter Power!

I just got back from Comic Con and I am very thankful I was able to go. Thank you to the person that gave me that ticket. I had a lot of fun. I met awesome artist and I was able to talk to them. I aslo hanged with friends that I been wanting to get to know more about. Over all it was a very positive expierence for me. Like I said before I am very thankful. :)

Now I come back to Salt lake with no job and having no idea what I'll do with my life. I am very scared and frustrated. I've worked hard for many years ...and to be nowhere...I really don;t know what to do. Anyways I finally finished my scooter. I think it's an alright 3d... nothing

special. I'll have to think what I did right and what I did right. Hope everyone is doing awesome thanks for looking

Bus art.

I go to work in orem. I take the bus so i have time to draw. I do ten pages of hands, ten pages of doodles, and ten pages of figuresa month. Plus figure drawing every satuday and my faces. i don't feel like i am getting better.. but what ever i'll keep drawing cause i like it.

I had some good input this week from things I am doing wrong. One is that my style is sorta in between of realistic and cartoony and the viewer isn't sure what i am trying to show. If it's going to be cartoonish i should push my shapes more. the other thing was... my faces sometimes don't have the right constuction.. they are to deformed. these are things I'll be working on more. I aslo copied one of Sam nielsons designs. I am trying to understand what shapes they use better. :)

Another piece I've been stuck on, but I finished it :) I liked taking concept art to 3d . that was fun. I learned some zbrushing mistakes on this piece. I had other problems that I don't really know how to fix though. But thats okay I'm just glad to have this done

I'm glad I am finally done with this. I had a lot of trouble...At first this model had no cloths... I thought it looked very boring...then I put cloths on him and it still looked bad... I changed the color of the cloths and messed in zbrush. I think it turned out alright... Its a good step forward. I want to get good so can model characters for videogames.. I have a ways to go. Thanks for looking.

I had trouble wanting to finish this piece. I saw problems that i didn't like. The design and pose. It's stiff. I was going for a depressed feeling. I think I did okay. I kinda like the character. I think he has alittle charm.

Disney Bought who!?!?!?!? Another weird painting. I feel a lot better about this one than my last painting. I know I'm repeating my self doing portait paintings...which is a problem..I'll have to change something... Maybe do them in different styles.... I don't know I'll have to think about it. Last month I don't know what was wrong.. All i wanted to do is sleep all day.. I couldn't tell if I was just sick or depressed. Hopefully this month is nicer to me. Thanks for looking.
